Archives, libraries, and museums are all custodians of our cultural heritage, but their roles, practices, and vocabularies can vary widely. How can we better understand the similarities and differences among these professions and build bridges across them? Join us for this insightful webinar on The Umbrella of Special Collections/Cultural Heritage.
Our speaker, Genna Duplisea, MA, MLIS, will explore the different roles for collections management across different types of repositories and discuss the differences in vocabulary and practice among practitioners of different fields of cultural heritage. You'll learn how to navigate each field's unique challenges and opportunities and develop a more comprehensive understanding of the cultural heritage landscape.
We can create a more cohesive and effective cultural heritage community by fostering better communication and understanding among these professions.
