If you are intersted in getting started with editing Wikipedia, or developing a program at your institution, then I recommend completing the Wikipedia + Libraries program offered through WebJunction. I took this course last fall, and used it to put together an edit-a-thon on campus, and set-up a staff cohort of trainers. It is a great introductory program for anyone who is interested.
