Job Duties:
- Research topics and identify resource needs through libraries and purchases.
- Generate and execute loan agreements from start to finish dates.
- Maintain timely communication and professional relationships with lenders and stakeholders.
- Develop in-house programming related to the exhibition theme.
- Write press releases for the Executive Communications team.
- Grant interviews to the media as directed by the Executive Communications team.
- Arrange special programming events by securing speakers.
- Work with the Gala coordinator to help plan the event.
- Attend as many exhibit-related events as possible, including evening hours.
- Physical construction of exhibition mounts and supports.

Years of experience required:
Three years of experience in historical research, archival operations, records management, records preservation, or college-level teaching in a humanities field; OR six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
