    Job Description:

    Job Duties:

    • Research topics and identify resource needs through libraries and purchases.
    • Generate and execute loan agreements from start to finish dates.
    • Maintain timely communication and professional relationships with lenders and stakeholders.
    • Develop in-house programming related to the exhibition theme.
    • Write press releases for the Executive Communications team.
    • Grant interviews to the media as directed by the Executive Communications team.
    • Arrange special programming events by securing speakers.
    • Work with the Gala coordinator to help plan the event.
    • Attend as many exhibit-related events as possible, including evening hours.
    • Physical construction of exhibition mounts and supports.

    Years of experience required:

    Three years of experience in historical research, archival operations, records management, records preservation, or college-level teaching in a humanities field; OR six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR a bachelor's degree. 

    EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
