Under limited direction, this position processes archival collections and City of Austin records, provides reference services to the public, and provides public programs.

1.Identifies, acquires, organizes and processes archival collections and materials related to Asian American heritage in Travis County. 
2. Develops and implements public programs and events related to Asian American history in Travis County. 
3. Provides public liaison activities including lectures, media appearances and interviews related to Asian American history in Travis County. 
4. Collaborates with other organizations to plan and implement programs related to Asian American history in Travis County.
5. Assists in planning exhibits by organizing and interpreting historical records for public presentation related to Asian Americans in Travis County.
6. Collects oral histories documenting Asian American history in Travis County.
7. Coordinates and supervises volunteer tasks.
Responsibilities-Supervision and/or Leadership Exercised:
May provide leadership, work assignments, evaluation, training, and guidance to others.
