    Ralph W. Steen Library at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, is seeking a digital scholarship librarian responsible for the supervision of the Center for Digital Scholarship Department within the Ralph W. Steen Library. Leads the development of the university's institutional repository, ScholarWorks, and in planning, directing, and implementing digitization projects. Engages in outreach activities to build relationships within the academic community in the promotion of ScholarWorks.  Provides leadership in copyright, creation of standards-based metadata, and in managing the long-term preservation of archival master files. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This is a security-sensitive position. Reports to the associate director of library information services.  


    EDUCATION:  Master's degree from an American Library Association-accredited library school is required. 


    EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:  Three years of related experience is required. Experience managing digital scholarship projects in an academic setting is required.


    Librarian rank is determined by level of experience, publications, membership affiliations, etc. Minimum requirements listed are those of the Librarian II level.
