The Society of American Archivists Labor Archives Section is expanding and updating its directory of cultural heritage materials related to labor unions, labor organizing, and working peoples in the United States and Canada! If your institution preserves and provides access to records documenting working people and the labor movement at large, including (but not limited to) organized labor as well as social justice and civil rights organizing with labor as an intersectional focus, we want your repository represented! To be included in this round of new directory entries, complete the survey form  by Friday August 6! Thanks to the over 28 institutions that have already participated!

    Link to survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfRMpSCdsAV6UJZdGOmHlxV8z8WSN5e-lx6kxQwhcngiJ1xHQ/viewform

The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. If your institution is already listed in the directory, you can still use this form to provide us with updated information or send us an email at lasdirectory@gmail.com with any updates. If you have any questions, such as whether or not your institution should be included or how the directory will be used, please contact us at lasdirectory@gmail.com.

Please feel free to share this form with other institutions and relevant professional communication channels as appropriate. We also hope you’ll share the directory with your research communities!

    Thanks!
Crystal Rodgers, on behalf of the SAA Labor Archives Section Directory Working Group
