Is anyone interested is getting together to talk about the Galveston 1900 Storm? Next year the island is celebrating 125 years since the storm hit. But it did not just affect Galveston. It went up through Texas and into Oklahoma, then Nebraska, managing to affect the Great Lakes Region, New England, and Canada. (after touching off damage in Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida)
Do we need a web page for resources beyond Galveston? Digital Exhibit? The Portal to Texas History has documents, but they have different subject headings.
