    Good afternoon Society of Southwest Archivists,  

    Hope you are doing well! I am reaching out on behalf of the California Secretary of State’s Office, Human Resources Bureau, to request your assistance in promoting our Archivist I Examination (Ex-03923) within our Archives Division.     Archivist I Examination Opportunity:

    Do you have an interest in preserving California's rich history and artifacts? The Archives Division is looking for qualified applicants to apply for the Archivist I Examination. The Archivist I Examination will provide applicants’ eligibility into the Archivist I classification or job position. The Archivist I classification facilitates the operation and maintenance of the California State Archives collection and its history.

    • Monthly Salary Range: $5,399 - $6,757
    • Application Deadline: Friday, 1/31/2025
