    The University of Arkansas at Little Rock invites applicants for a Student Success Archivist (R97234) position at its primary facility at the Center for Arkansas History and Culture in the Rivermarket District of downtown Little Rock. UA Little Rock operates its Archives in partnership with the Central Arkansas Library System with which it works on a variety of initiatives. 

     

    The Student Success Archivist is assigned to the UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture (CAHC) and is responsible for organizing archival collections for use by patrons and for providing assistance to patrons in locating information. This position initiates and assists in the coordination of activities that promote student success in a community-engaged research university. Teaching in the undergraduate or graduate history program is expected. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

     

    Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to archives work and two (2) years of relevant experience.

     

    Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s degree in a field related to archives work and two (2) years of relevant experience.
