Presenter Bio: Krista M. Hollis, MLIS, LEED Green Associate is the Assistant Archivist at The Menil Collection, Chair of the SSA Ad Hoc Committee on Sustainability, member of the SSA Finance Committee, and sits on the Board for the Archivists of the Houston Area. A recent graduate of LSU’s School of Information Science with an MLIS and Certificate of Archival Studies, Krista is passionate about sustainability and cultural heritage, especially in arts organizations.

Description: Job applications can be complicated, stressful, and tedious—but a strong application can set you apart in a competitive job market. Cover letters allow you to show your personality during the application process, which is otherwise a cut and dry listing of your qualifications. In this webinar, we will delve into tips and tricks, formatting, how cover letters fit in with resume writing, and some pitfalls to avoid.
