We are pleased to share that with the support of the SSA board, the Society of Southwest Archivists will be once again hosting an exhibitor's booth at the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, & Museums (ATALM) annual conference October 11-12, 2016 at the Gila River Indian Community, Phoenix, Arizona.
Building on our exhibitor participation in the conference last year, our goal is to open a dialog and share information with Indigenous collection archivists in attendance, and offer membership in SSA as well as encourage session proposals and attendance at the SSA 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
To facilitate the sharing information portion, we request that any SSA-region Tribal archives or archives with Native American holdings or resources please send in information, guides, or pamphlets to be shared with ATALM attendees at the exhibit booth. The deadline for materials is October 1.
