Have you been on the fence about submitting a presentation proposal for the 2024 Joint Georgia Libraries Conference with SGA? It's not too late.

The Sessions Committee for the conference has decided to extend the proposal submission deadline until June 7 - an additional week later than the original deadline of May 31.

Our theme this year is "Leading Georgia Forward, Together." As the first joint conference for the Georgia Library Association and the Society of Georgia Archivists, this year's GLC is a special opportunity to celebrate and engage with leaders in the library and archive community whose work makes a positive impact across our state.

While the conference will be held in person October 2-4 in Athens, Georgia, it will continue to include a virtual component. This will comprise pre-recorded sessions and asynchronous Q&A sessions (see Session Format for more information). Virtual materials will be available October 15-17, 2024.

The extended proposal deadline is June, 2024.  We request that participants limit their number of proposals by a single individual to 3. All attendees, including presenters, are required to register for the conference.

    Submit a Proposal

Proposal acceptance notifications are expected to be distributed by June 28, 2024.

If you have any questions regarding presentation proposals, please contact Karen Doster-Greenleaf (kdosterg@kennesaw.edu).

    Thanks,

The 2024 Joint Conference Planning Committee
