The Austin  History Center, Austin Public Library is accepting applications for the African American Community Archivist position, which will be filled at a I or II level depending on qualifications. The position acquires and processes collections related to the African American community in Travis County and serves as the main point of contact between the Center and the community. The Community Archivist is also responsible for planning and implementing programming and outreach to the community and providing archival reference assistance to AHC users.
