Our archives received a very old water damaged book (1850s-1870s).  It is still legible but the pages are warped, dirty and slightly mildewed.  It was not well cared for.  I wouldn't worry about it except there is poetry and stories about early Collin County from a prominent pioneer of the area.  It was probably a guestbook of sorts.  There seems to be notes and such written by guests of the home as well as poems by the lady of the house. 

All this explanation because we do want to preserve it.  We need some suggestions of a conservator from the Plano/Dallas area for books.  If you know of someone who could help us, please let me know.
