Like, Favorite and Follow: Using Social Media in Special Collections

Learn how The Texas Collection is growing in its applications of social media projects and

platforms. From collaborating with Baylor professors and integrating new media into the

classroom, to reaching out to Civil War enthusiasts through letters from the battlefield, to providing

guidelines for staff administering social media outlets, we are using 21st century methods to share

our fascinating collections. A wide audience who might not otherwise know about special

collections can virtually engage with The Texas Collection and explore historical resources.
