    The Dallas Morning News is looking for a digital archivist to join the Research and Archives department.

    We are looking for an archivist who can help build, design and preserve The Dallas Morning News Archives; the first draft of North Texas’ history. Our cultural knowledge is important to the local community, which is why it is crucial for us to retain and interpret our history, while we are also making history. With those goals in mind, we are excited to bring a passionate, creative, digitally minded archivist onto the team to help us continue to build a robust, user-friendly digital archive.

    The right candidate will have a passion for local history, news, information, technology, preservation and journalism, and will be eager to work both independently and with a team to help continuously curate, cultivate and improve our archive.

    We are in search of a diverse group of candidates from a variety of backgrounds. If you have strong skills in any of the requested areas and unique or interesting project or technical experience, we certainly want to hear from you.
