This is a grant funded internship opportunity at the Austin History Center working with the Reference Archivist. The intern primarily provides reference and research assistance to AHC customers through email and telephone, including pulling materials for scanning and doing some light scanning as part of the Center’s e-document delivery service. Other projects may be assigned by the Reference Archivist as needed. The position pays $15.00/hour working 15 hours/week, and the position is currently funded for about 8 months, with a strong possibility of continued funding for an additional year.

The AHC is currently closed to the public, but the successful candidate will work onsite for most of their schedule. Once we resume open public hours, the intern will be expected to work weekend hours, traditionally every Sunday.
