The University of Texas at San Antonio Libraries is seeking a self-motivated archivist for a temporary project to appraise, rehouse, and transfer archival materials at an assigned location for inclusion in Special Collections’ University Archives. Responsibilities include appraising physical, audiovisual, and digital materials; identifying items in need of conservation, inventorying and accessioning records, physically transferring boxes of materials to the archives, and managing the location and storage of archival materials within project scope.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible, temporary position with a salary range of $45,000 - $47,000 based on experience. The position start date is February 1, 2021, with an end date of August 31, 2021, and has the possibility of being extended.
