SSA Quilt Bee 2016

Calling all SSA crafty folk!
Sign up to join your fellow quilters in SSA to create a beautiful quilt for the silent auction at SSA 2016 in OKC.

The image you see here is the quilt design we propose, to be created with beautiful high-quality Kaffe Fassett shot cotton, as a large "throw" size, 66"x82".   If you haven't seen Kaffe Fassett's shot cotton before, they are solids with a lovely 2-color effect because the warp and weft are slightly different colors. Gorgeous! 
We think it will be a hot item at the SSA auction! 

To share the fabric cost, it will be $10 per block to participate.
Email Amanda to arrange payment by check or paypal.
In our pattern, we have 32 full blocks ($10 each) and 12 half-size blocks ($5 each). 
* If we have funds leftover, they will go to the SSA Scholarships Fund. All participants will see an accounting of the costs and how much we are able to donate.*

sign up deadline: Feb 15, 2016

Timeline: 

• January  - signups! 

• February - cut fabric and  block instructions to be sent out to participants

• March - April 15 - participants make blocks and send them in

• April 15-May 15 - quilting and binding (Amanda Focke - unless someone else wants to)
